Weight Management & Exercise Class
What is it?
Suitable for all ages, fitness levels, shapes and sizes, this class is ideal for you if you want to shed excess pounds, keep an eye on your weight or simply want a work out.
A confidential weigh-in is available followed by a short talk based on nutrition, motivation, health or exercise.
After that, a fun filled 45 minutes of exercise to fabulous music to get your feet moving to the beat and some serious calorie burning.
What are the benefits?
When performed regularly, cardiovascular exercise helps to burn fat It’s great for bone strengthening, helping to reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Cardiovascular exercise has been proven to help reduce high blood pressure and reduce the risk of developing coronary heart disease.
What do I wear?
Wear something loose fitting and comfortable to move about in, for example jogging bottoms and a t-shirt. Trainers are a must to support your feet. Bring a towel and/or a mat for the floor work and most importantly bring a bottle of water to keep well hydrated.
Cardio Fitness Classes
A hi-low aerobics session, where moves can be performed with high impact or low impact. Consists of 10 minute warm up followed by a 20 minute cardio session. Followed by a 10 minute toning session (standing, on the floor or chair based) and a 5 minute relaxation & stretch.
Classes are held on a Wednesday at the times and places detailed below:
